The Australian New Goldberg Orchestra (ANGO) is Melbourne’s premier high-performing, independent, not-for-profit cultural orchestra. Proudly standing as a unique orchestra in Australia dedicated to the harmonious fusion of Western and Eastern musical traditions, ANGO is committed to enriching our community by providing an outlet in music-making that celebrates both Australian and Chinese heritage. We have been challenging and nurturing players of all ages and backgrounds since 2012 in providing endless opportunities in musical development, education and performance opportunities both locally and abroad.

ANGO has performed in high profile concerts at the Melbourne Recital Centre and Ian Roach Hall; and have traversed across oceans and performed at the Beijing National Centre for Performing Arts, Jiangsu National Theatre, and Zhuhai Grand Theatre and more. In addition to performing, the orchestra has provided music masterclass events for their members with esteemed guest musicians and teachers, such as Wang Yi (concertmaster of Orchestra Victoria) and Stefan Cassomenos (Melbourne pianist), over the past years.
