ANGO is proud to partner with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in East meets West series in 2024!

A warm welcome to 2024 to all members new and old! Rehearsals will commence on Sundays from 6:00PM to 9:00PM and be held at Huntingtower School, 77 Waimarie Drive, Mt. Waverley Vic 3149.

On a momentous evening at the Melbourne Recital Centre, music enthusiasts gathered to witness the culmination of a decade of brilliance as ANGO, a youth musical ensemble of unparalleled artistry, celebrated its 10th anniversary. The stage was set for an extraordinary musical journey that traversed genres and eras, leaving an indelible mark on the cultural tapestry of Melbourne.

What a successful first concert of the 2021 concert season! This memorable night featured smaller ensembles of ANGO, with tastes of several musical styles, and is most certainly a night to remember.

ANGO’s focus in exploring heritage and cultural roots saw the orchestra tour to Guangzhou, China in December 2019. We had the immense honour of hosting a charity concert at the Guangzhou Beilei Theatre for the disadvantaged.

2018 marked the beginning of ANGO’s strong relationship with Melbourne’s Scotch College and Nanjing’s 101 High School in China. Our exchange program saw ANGO performing alongside the two schools in our annual flagship concert 'Spring Blossom Autumn Harvest'.
