Gordon Gunn
Multi-Instrumentalist, Conductor & Music Educator
Gordon Gunn is a highly experienced multi-instrumentalist, conductor, and music educator with a rich background performing in orchestras, big bands, and theatre productions. Over several decades, he has held leadership roles in Victorian schools as Head of Performing Arts, directing and managing extensive music programs that included orchestras, bands, and choral groups. An accomplished double bassist and trumpeter, Gordon has performed at major venues such as Melbourne’s Concert Hall, Recital Centre, and various indoor and outdoor festivals across Australia. His broad repertoire ranges from classical and jazz to pop, funk, and rock, and he frequently contributes arrangements and orchestrations for school and community ensembles. In addition to his long-term dedication to the Victorian Education Department, Gordon regularly mentors up-and-coming musicians, fostering creativity and collaboration through workshops, masterclasses, and large-scale events.

Robert Dora
Orchestral Conductor, Music Educator,Music Adjudicator, Conducting Lecturer, Composer
Robert Dora is known for his vibrant conducting style, dynamic repertoire programming, and unwavering support of Australian compositions. Over his career, he has worked extensively with diverse symphonic and vocal ensembles, performing alongside renowned composers and soloists both in Australia and abroad. A co-founder of four Melbourne orchestras, including the Australasian Orchestra, Robert has received critical acclaim for his interpretations of orchestral masterworks. Beyond the podium, he is dedicated to music education, having led workshops for community and academic ensembles in Victoria and New South Wales, and taught conducting at Monash University and the University of Melbourne. He also serves as a music competition adjudicator and is a commissioned symphonic composer. In 2025, Robert will proudly assume the conductor role for both the Surrey Hills Orchestra and the ANGO Rad Youth Orchestra.
