2019 Guangzhou Tour

Nine-hour flights, downloading every VPN on the app store, late nights, early mornings and of course, lovely music… That’s right, ANGO has just come back from yet another successful China tour!

This year, we had the privilege of visiting and performing in the cities of Guangzhou and Zhuhai. Over the course of this wonderful music-filled adventure, ANGO members were able to broaden their understanding of Chinese culture and landscapes through activities such as learning martial arts, visiting various museums and even taking classes in traditional calligraphy!

The concerts and musical activities of every tour always present our members with special opportunities and unique challenges alike. Not only were we given the chances to perform in grand venues such as the Guangzhou Beilei Theatre and the Zhuhai Opera House, but were also able to share our love for music with the young members of a local youth orchestra, and also students from our lovely host school—Jinan University.

Fourteen days passes in a blink of an eye when you’re on tour. Whether it be new friendships, a deeper cultural understanding, a greater appreciation of music or simply the thrills of travelling, there’s something for every member of the ANGO family to discover on tour.
